外縁部の銘文には、『朱雀院建立寿応山沢両寺延長8年（西暦929年）8月16日奉請大檀那種子関白○○公別当南嶽院代敬白』と陽刻されており、伝説に包まれた古代寺院『沢両寺』と明治まで続いた修験道場『南嶽院』のことが刻まれています。■寸法／材質：直径103㎝／銅鉄混合製
